What are the types of remap available?

A stage one remap is a modification to a vehicle’s engine control unit (ECU), overriding the default settings to increase power or fuel efficiency. This reconfiguration of existing software is the only modification. Stage two refers to the physical hardware, such as performance exhausts, cooling systems, and smaller turbos, which can improve speed, power, and fuel economy. However, currently, we do not offer stage two remaps.

How is a remap done?

ECU remapping involves two primary forms: OBD remapping and KTAG remapping. OBD remapping is the easiest and most common, involving plugging specialist tools into the OBD port and installing software. It takes 30 minutes to an hour. KTAG remapping is more time-consuming and requires physical removal of the vehicle’s ECU. It is commonly required in older vehicles where the ECU cannot communicate effectively with modern technology. Prices are higher for KTAG remapping.
